Transforming landscapes for nature

Our projects are targeted at small parcels of land (between 1 and 3 acres) which, for whatever reasons, are suffering from degraded soil, loss of biodiversity and other environmental issues. Our aim is to aid natural regeneration by:

  • Restoring soil health

  • Improving on-site water management

  • Planting in accordance with the natural landscape and local conditions

  • Creating places for natural habitats to flourish

  • Producing supplemental food within each landscape

We do not seek to profit from our work, and any income derived from sponsorship, fundraising or outputs feeds straight back into our projects.

In time, we hope our sites can become beacons of natural living and offer learning experiences for young people interested in sustainable development.

A note on agriculture and re-wilding

Any food produced by our projects is a by-product of restoring healthy land and we believe strongly that food is best grown and consumed locally. For that reason, we are strong supporters of a healthy domestic agricultural industry and have huge respect for farmers applying sustainable and organic methods in challenging conditions.

We are also advocates for projects to reintroduce natural and wild landscapes throughout the UK and across the spectrum of “rewilding”.

Our projects are more simple than either of these endeavours - we simply hope to contribute to the benefit of wildilfe, the land and local communities.
